Public Health preparedness activities in Western New York are coordinated by the Regional Office of Public Health Emergency Preparedness (ROPHEP).  ROPHEP is sponsored by the Western New York Public Health Alliance represented by the counties of Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Niagara, Orleans, and Wyoming.

Bioterrorism Coordinators from each county meet twice a month facilitated by the Regional Bioterrorism Coordinator and Regional Medical Director.
